I loved Kos and Lena's story. Loved that we got more of all of the Mara family.
This story has such a wonderful bunch of characters and oh my goodness how I love them all. This book was full on nonstop awe YAY!! This book was full on nonstop awesome from the first page to the last.
I hope that the next book is Bel's story. I have to confess that I might actually experience a fangirl minute over this series. Need to know what happens next! And can I just say how much Uta's character made me laugh out loud! Hilarious woman! And how Pedro and Lucas warmed my soul.
Loved it all. Thank you so much Amber Belldene. I didn't want the book to end, I'm completely addicted to your brilliant writing. Jul 23, Sandy rated it it was amazing.

This is definitely an author doe me to follow. Of course, one has to enjoy a story about vampires to appreciate this and I certainly do. I did enjoy the continuation of this new take on vampires. I did have a problem with how much of Lucas and Pedro were in this. I was under the impression it was more of a Kos and Lena book, which is what I wanted, and loved their parts.
I like the bits we get of Bel and know the 3rd book should be more about him. I sure hope we have less of the Pedro and Luke relationship, they should just get their own book, then I can avoid it, lol I was first drawn to this story because of the unusual plot and characters, with wine being used to save the vampires from the wasting disease that they are slowly dying from. But this one seems to have just about every kind of sex the author could think of thrown in, and it took away from the great story. I will say it all was pretty tastefully written, as much as can be for this much sex.
It was just a distraction from the excellent storyline. But back to the parts I do like. The main storyline. I did think that there should have been some thought about the vines that were in danger of the hunters.
I think as old as all the vamps are someone would have had the foresight to dig up some live healthy vines and move them somewhere safe. Knowing that the hunters were coming. So I had a problem with that. Even Zoey should have thought of that. I was glad her and Kos seemed to have something going. Wanted to smack them both at times, lol. Overall the series so far as a whole is intriguing, the plot is well thought out and a page turner. I sill like it, just not a favorite, which is what I give 5 stars to. I received this book from the author for my honest review.

After finishing the first book, I could only wait a few days before a gave in and bought the second book because the story was so stuck in my head, I was thinking about it a lot. I was so glad to be able to start the second book and be thrown back into this seductive world created by Amber Belldene. Kos doesn't believe love can last a lifetime for vampires because of what happened to his mother and Andre.

But when he and Lena get closer and closer he finds it hard to send her away to another household but he knows he has to for both their sakes.
Or so he thinks. Lena wants to leave Andre's household as fast as she can after all the rejections she got from him.
And she only had minutes before the once perfectly humane human went on a nut-jump killing spree. A more likely reason is that the decline is due to changes in the experimental goals. I slipped my hand into the side of my bag I had strapped to my back. Hundreds of human skeletal remains are strewn all around the edges of this circular lake. Kate Meader. He let it in, caught it, and it turned out to be a common rose chafer—a beetle closely resembling a golden scarab.
But when she gets to know Kos more she realizes he's the one who stirs feelings inside of her but then he sends her away to the dark Mason who has even darker tastes. Blood Entangled is mostly about Kos and Lena. I loved how Amber spread the seeds for them in Blood Vine already so that their story wouldn't come out of nowhere.
I loved that.
creatoranswers.com/modules/pending/ I actually didn't expect to like this book as much as I did the previous because I didn't like Lena there but as a main character and reading her point of view I actually did like her. So surprising but great. Kos I've always loved and he was even more amazing in this book. Although I was getting frustrated sometimes with him when he wouldn't admit his true feelings for Lena and being kind of a coward about it, I did like him.
He and Lena were perfection together! Lena and Kos being what the story really is about, Pedro and Lucas took also a huge part of the book. And I'd be lying if I wasn't secretly reading Blood Entangled exactly for them. I wanted to know where their story would go and, boy, it was so good! They're definitely my favorite couple so far.
I love how this book and the series doesn't shy away from gay couples. More books should have this. And as always the romantic scenes were scorching hot and sexy! Gotta love that. Besides the usual characters, there were a few new and interesting ones. Gwen for example. Yeah, I did not like her. The C. Later, White took his act to San Francisco, where he expanded his research to include observing the effects of LSD on prostitutes and their clients during sex—the C.
Your tax dollars at work. What might be a rational goal of such a research project—to identify forms of interrogation that would not require the slow and brutal uncertainties of torture, or the unreliability of sexual bribes—was never seriously pursued. Many of the LSD experiments were administered in harsh, isolated environments, without warning and in ways that would induce extreme panic.
